Cavendish Prince Edward Island

Cavendish PEI has the famous Cavendish Beach with miles of white sands.  Prince Edward Island has lots of beautiful landscapes to see or photograph.  Surrounded by the ocean, PEI offers rugged coastlines and many sandy beaches.  Cavendish PEI has  miles of sandy coastlines with sand dunes  right off the beach.  There are great hiking and biking trails within the National Park.  We are just a few minutes  away from Cavendish Beach.

PEI is home to Anne of Green Gables where you can tour the Green Gables House and the Homestead of Lucy Maud Montgomery.   Enjoy a tour of the Green Gables House.    The area has 2 Theme Parks that are popular with Families.   Shining Waters Family Fun Park is a water theme park with water slides, wading pool, paddle boats, petting zoo, mirror maze and much, much more.  New for 2016 Shining Waters Park is adding a Roller Coaster and other new activities.  Sandspit, a large amusement ride park, is great for evening fun with their late hours being open till 10pm.  They offer a great variety of rides such as roller coaster, bumper cars, bumper boats, twirl and whirl, min race cars and even mini golf.  Other great attractions are Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Wax World of Stars, Mariner's Cove Mini Golf,    Visit the Shops of Avonlea Village .  All these attractions are just a few minutes away from our Cottages.

Cavendish Boardwalk Shopping offers many outlet shops, Cows Ice Cream and lots of shops to pick up souvenirs of Cavendish and Prince Edward Island.  Local grocery stores are located in Cavendish and you'll find lots of dining choices for your family.

Prince Edward Island has become the home for the now famous Cavendish Beach Music Festival featuring a 3 day country music festival.  Famous artists such as Taylor Swift, Trace Atkins, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesley, Blake Shelton and many others have come to Cavendish to thrill their fans with this 3 day outdoor venue.  We are just a few minutes drive to the Festival grounds.

Prince Edward Island has 4 Championship Golf Courses - Eagles Glenn Golf Course, Green Gables Golf Course, Glasgow HIlls Golf Course and Anderson's Creek Golf Course all within 5-8 minutes of our Cottages
