2025 Sommo Music Festival Rates for September13,14 weekend.
We do not permit the smoking of Cannabis on our property (you can use Cannabis Gummies).
No Parties. No Offsite Visitors allowed on Saturday and Sunday.
We only offer Weekend Rates (Flat Rates - no nightly rates) and it covers your stay for 2 or 3 nights for Sommo Festival Weekend.
A $400 Non-Refundable deposit is required at time of booking payable by E-mail Transfer

1 Bedrooms Deluxe or 1 Bedroom Open Concept Style Cottage:
Rates cover up to 2 persons. Maximum 4 persons allowed
Flat Rate: $510 + tax for 2 persons for up to 3 nights
Extra persons are $75 + tax each.
Cleaning fee of $60
2 Bedroom Deluxe:
Rates cover up to 4 persons. Maximum 6 persons allowed
Flat Rate: $720 + tax for up to 4 persons for up to 3 nights
Extra persons are $75 + tax each
Cleaning fee of $65
2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom:
Rates cover up to 4 persons. Maximum 6 persons allowed
Flat Rate: $810 + tax for up to 4 persons and covers up to 3 nights
Extra persons are $75 + tax each
Cleaning fee of $80
NEW 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom:
Rates cover up to 4 persons. Maximum 6 persons allowed
Flat Rate: $900 + tax for up to 4 persons and covers up to 3 nights
Extra persons are $75 + tax each

3 Bedroom 1 Bathroom:
Rates cover up to 4 persons. Maximum 7 persons allowed
Flat Rate: $930 + tax for up to 4 persons and covers up to 3 nights

3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom:
Rates cover up to 4 persons. Maximum 8 persons allowed
Flat Rate: $990 + tax for up to 4 persons and covers 2 or 3 nights

New Large 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom:
Rates cover up to 4 persons. Maximum 8 persons allowed
Flat Rate: $1080 + tax for up to 4 persons and covers 2 or 3 nights

You cannot book these cottages online with our online booking systems. You have to send us an inquiry here

Sommo Festival Booking/Cancellation Policy:
- $400 Non-Refundable Deposit required at time of booking by Email Transfer
- The balance owing is due on or before July 12th, again paid by Email Transfer (this portion is refundable should we get the cottage rented out to another guest for your dates
- A valid credit card will also be needed to book and be on file as damage deposit
- Should you cancel after July 12 and we can get the cottage rented out to another Guest you will receive what you paid less the $400 Non-refundable deposit paid.
You cannot "Sell" your reservation. All Guests are screen to ensure they are a good fit for our policies. Therefore if a friend wants to take over your booking, they will need to screened by Office and approved. Your $400 deposit will not be refunded or applied to their booking, they will have to pay "Their" Non-refundable $400 deposit and the balance owing will be due upon booking if booked after July 11th.
Sommo Festival Rules for Staying Policy:
- Cannabis - smoking cannabis is not permitted on our property anytime ($500 fee will apply if you smoke it on our property). You can use Cannabis Gummies.
- No smoking inside the cottage or open doorways - you can smoke outside (but not cannabis) on the deck, ashtray will be provided. $500 violation fee will apply if we detect smoke of any kind inside the cottage
- Quiet time is strictly 11pm-8am <not all of our guests are attending the music festival>
- No Parties
- Off Site Visitors are not permitted (day or night) on Friday and Saturday
- No hanging out on the decks after 11pm
- Quiet time: 11pm-8am
- NO Pets allowed
- You cannot "Sell" or "Transfer" your booking to another person
- All occupants must register at the office upon arrival.
- Maximum 2 vehicles per cottage and must display parking pass in the dash
SOMMO Festival is located behind the Avonlea Shops. We are usually a 6 min drive to Avonlea Shops but delays are usual during the Cavendish Beach Music Festival and will likely be the case during Sommo Festival during heavy traffic times between 4pm-7pm. There is no shuttle service but Taxi service has been great for CBMF and very reliable.
